AN all day charity music event is taking place on Sunday, August 29 at O'Neill's in High Wycombe from 2pm-8pm followed by more live music.
Organisers Mark Grinyer and Chris Blackwell have arranged a host of performers and there will be a BBQ from 8pm (weather permitting). Punch Monkey will be on stage from 9.30pm-12am and the pub will close at 1am. All money raised will go to Cancer Research UK.
THE Voice of Golf, Peter Alliss, will be at the Wycombe Swan on September 9 at 7.30pm.
Alliss is recognised internationally for his television golf commentaries and will share with the audience stories and anecdotes from his career.

BUCKS New University graduate Mark Allard has produced the new music video for an up-and-coming Oxford band, Beyond Route Zero. Allard has focused on physical effects to complement the tempo of the track and believes that the result is "a warm, soft-coloured feeling". He is full of praise for his course at BNU, explaining that he learned "disciplines of the video industry" which enabled his progression as an artist. ROALD Dahl Day 2010 will take place this year on Sunday, September 12 at the Roald Dahl Museum in Great Missenden. There will be special events from 11am-5pm, including a special story-telling of Matilda by the Royal Shakespeare Company. Dahl's garden at his home, Gipsy House, will be open for the day. Admission to the museum is £6 for adults and £4 for children, although admission to the Gipsy House garden is free.
HELLFIRE Comedy Club returns to the High Wycombe entertainment scene this autumn with shows commencing every Thursday from September 23 onwards. Each week up-and-coming comedians will take to the Wycombe Swan's main stage to try out their acts and entertain fans. The Hellfire Club is popular with comedians due to its discerning audience and this autumn has attracted headliners such as Imran Yusuf, Danny Ward and Charlie Baker to name a few. To compliment the evening of comedy curries and beers will be made available, resulting in the perfect beginning to the weekend.
