Author Gill Gregory talks about her first novel, The Sound of Turquoise, at Golders Green library next Tuesday.
In this autobiographical work, she tells stories of her grandfather who fled from pre-revolutionary Russia, her elder brother who suffered severe epilepsy, and her father who practised psychiatry.
The Sound of Turquoise was placed first in Kingston University Press’ Life Writing, Memoir and Biography competition in 2009.
