People are complex, and if you are a people watcher, or a student of human nature, you'll find the Diploma in Psychology fascinating. The course will help you develop an understanding of psychology, look at the way human actions can be explained on different levels and show how the concerns of psychologists mix, and overlap with, other sciences. The Diploma in Psychology introduces many transferable skills such as: communication, numeracy, critical thinking and independent learning, which are highly valued by employers.
Upon successful completion of this course you will hold a Level 3 diploma in psychology from EDI - one of the largest accredited awarding bodies in the UK vocational sector. Gaining this Diploma in Psychology will lay the foundation for a career in a variety of sectors including education, marketing, social services, law and the public sector. An example role that diploma holders can eventually work towards is a Research Assistant position, to potentially earn a salary of up to £34,765* per annum (*Source: www.Payscale.com, May 2011).
