Greenford scout awarded cash
A 12-YEAR-OLD Greenford scout has won £300 for his group.
The Jack Petchey Foundation, a charity which helps 11 to 25-year-olds, awarded the cash to James Ellett, of the Greenford District Scouts, yesterday.
Geoff Russell-Jones, the grants officer at the Jack Petchey Foundation, said: "The young people and the leaders who have been recognised all deserve to be rewarded for the huge contribution they have made to their group and community.
"They should be as proud of themselves as we are of them."
James was one of 160 people given money.
