Fresh appeal over murdered teen
 |
| Anton suffered fatal gunshot and stab wounds. |
POLICE have issued a fresh appeal over the murder of an Acton teenager.
It is four years to the day that 17-year-old Anton Hyman, of Joseph Avenue, was shot and stabbed to death.
His body was found in the River Brent, near High Lane, Hanwell, by a member of the public on Mother's Day, March 21, 2004.
A £20,000 reward has been offered for information which leads to the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for his murder.
Detective Inspector Anthony McKeown, of the Met's Homicide and Serious Crime Command, said: "We are committed to solving this case and finally being able to provide the answers to the questions that Anton's family and friends need to know.
"Those who murdered Anton are a danger to society and need to be caught."
Anton was last seen at around 8pm on Saturday, March 20, 2004, between Greenford Avenue and Brent Valley Park, in Hanwell.
Police believe the 5ft six-and-a-half inch tall teen was killed that night.
He was wearing bright multi-coloured woolly gloves, blue and white Timberland boots, dark coloured jeans, a dark grey fleece, a green t-shirt and a green shirt with Iceberg written on the breast pocket.
